Roy was a great friend. Intelligent, professional, funny, good to be in his company. Yet, he was reserved almost shy. Cautious ? He was very deep, I don't know how far he really let people in !!! I d rather he was here with us. I d love to have a chat. Bill Robinson

I just learned of Dr Goodman's passing today. We worked together for quite a few years together..He was a consummate physician who treated each patient with all he had to give..We spent a lot of time on the road visiting the sick..He liked to give directions !!!! We , being close in age, enjoyed many things and we did share many meals and quite a few concerts... I remember one in ann arbor... a concert ukulele player !! He loved it....A few rock concerts....He was a little stiff !!! LOL... He had such a sense of humor, did not suffers fools, but did love them. We shared thousands of ideas from medicine to Shakespeare to Judaism add infinitude...He made me laugh....HARD....I loved Him as all of you...Bill Robinson

I'm so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He was one of my dearest friends throughout junior high and high school - from tearing around Roslyn on our bicycles searching out very specific comic books from very specific stores and then drawing and writing our own, to our work together editing and illustrating the high school's Student Prints magazine. He had a splendid, engaged intellect, varied talents, and great humor.
Although we lost touch in the early '80's I still think of him and his family often, and very fondly. I'm so pleased that he was able to carry on his father's calling as a physician and, as the husband of an MD, I'm not at all surprised that he passed that on to his children as well. To his parents and sister, please accept my sincere condolences for this profound loss and my best wishes for your health and happiness. To his widow and bereaved children, please accept the condolences of a friend of his from a long-ago time.

My eyes are filled with tears knowing my little cousin that I played with, slept over your house and had fun family dinners cooked by your mom is gone. It breaks my heart that your life was taken away way too soon. Sure we grew up, but the memories are forever.I find peace knowing that you are back in the arms of our loving grandparents Grandpa Jack (Jacob) and Grandma (Rose). They will take good care of you in heaven where you will have eternal life. No one could ask for a greater cousin. Your spunk, laugh and the funniest jokes put laughter and love in our hearts.Your love for your wife and the love you had for each baby when you became a dad was precious and rememberable. When I held your children as babies your face lit up.You were a doctor ( the greatest ever) but first you were a husband and a dad.Your kindness, love of family and love of people always showed. You will be greatly missed by me ( your cousin) Robin. I believe in God but I just don't understand why he called you so soon. I love you.
Love,
Cousin Robin Blank St.Pierre
