EASTWOOD _ Ruby December 19, 1941 - February 25, 2007 Beloved wife and mother, Ruby passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 25. Born in Vegreville, Alberta, Ruby grew up on the prairie before moving to Calgary to attend the Alberta College of Art. In 1965 she moved to Vancouver, where she worked as a graphic artist and raised her family. She will be dearly missed by her husband Peter, sons Peter and Kevin, daughter-in-law Gail, grandson Hartley, and all her friends and extended family. She will be remembered for her incredible strength, jubilant spirit, artistic eye, and extraordinary capacity to love. The family want to thank the doctors and nurses at VGH and the BC Cancer Agency. A celebration of Ruby's life will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, March 4 at the Lynn Valley Full Gospel Church, 1160 East 29th Street, North Vancouver, at Lynn Valley Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia/BMT Program of BC by contacting 604-875-5240.
