Rudy Stein October 9, 1933 - November 18, 2014 Rudy Clemens Stein, beloved husband of Rosemarie of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully at home on November 18 at the age of 81 years. Born in Bonn, Germany, Rudy immigrated to Calgary in 1952 and enjoyed a long and successful career in sales, including more than 30 years in real estate. He loved the outdoors and was happiest fishing, hiking and skiing in the mountains. Besides his wife Rosemarie, he is survived by his children Rudy (Greg), Annette (Charles) and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Benjamin and Amelia. He is also survived by his siblings Margit, Doris, Walter, and Gary and a large extended family. A Memorial Service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 3527 Boulton Road NW, on Tuesday, November 25 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Foundation.

Dear Rosemarie & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Rudy's death. I only heard about it yesterday and was so saddened. In the short time that we worked together at CIR, he always put a smile on my face. He was a story-teller extraordinaire with a long history of experiences. And he especially loved talking about you, Rosemarie - the best thing that ever happened to him. And both his children and his 3 grandchildren - all of which he was so very proud and loved immensely. Your memories of him, as well, must be filled with love and joy. Keep him in your hearts and he will be with you forever.

I have only just found out that Rudy has passed away. I have known Rudy for many years especially the years at CIR. I know he will be missed. I admired his work ethic and how nothing was going to stop him. I know he loved his family and was very proud of them, as he expressed that often to me. MY thoughts and prayers are with your family during this first Christmas without him around. I know that he will be close by making sure everyone if Ok.

Rudy the NW Office of CIR has not been the same since you retired in July. In speaking with my REALTORS they all have a story of an experience with you. As I talk with each one their faces light up as they remember the conversations. I remember the pictures you used to bring in of the mountains and clouds from your deck in Cochrane or the deer in your yard in Bearspaw or just the stories of your youth in Banff. Rudy I was always entertained by our discussions and I will miss them.
