Ruth Ann Repenning, 63, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Clarkson Medical Center in Omaha.Ruth Ann Repenning, daughter of Carl and Alice (Hankins) Svenson, was born March 13, 1945 in Norfolk, Neb. She graduated from Centerville Iowa High School. Ruth Ann was united in marriage to Danny Milburn in January of 1963. Two children were born to them. They moved to Cincinnati, Iowa and were engaged in farm work. They later divorced. She was then employed by Marion Beal. Ruth Ann then began raising and showing Horned Hereford Cattle. She and her daughter, Teena, moved to Stanton, Neb., where they continued to raise and show their cattle.On Feb. 11, 1982, she and Paul Repenning were united in marriage. They moved to Knox County where they made their home before moving to Plainview in 1995 where Paul was employed as a rural mail carrier until he retired. Paul then spent time supporting Ruth Ann in caring for her Nubian dairy goats. She spent a number of years improving production and quality of the goats state wide.Survivors include her husband, Paul, of Plainview; her children Terry and Teena; and three grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, Neb. The clergy is Pastor Duane Fahr. The organist is Joan Hoppe. Congregational hymns are "Jesus Lover Of My Soul," "Just As I Am" and "Beautiful Savior." Interment will be at Bega Cemetery in Stanton, Neb.The pallbearers are Rodney Repenning, Allyn Ganzor, Ritch Workman, Stacy Schaller, Brad Schaller, Mike Zireke and Dr. Wendell Sitz.The honorary pallbearers are Larry Hawkins, Ronald Lamm, Ken Chapman, Shaun Davis, Steve Davids, Maurice Hahlbeck and LaVern Kauth.The arrangements are by Brockhaus Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Neb.
