Ryan Freiheit Obituary
Born on April 2, 1949, in Flint, Michigan, Ryan was the son of Betty and Edmund Freiheit. He graduated from Northern High School in Flint and went on to serve his country with honor as a military policeman in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971.
Following his military service, Ryan built a long and dedicated career as a skilled welder at Buick, where he worked for 30 years.
Ryan found joy in many pursuits throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling and darts. A devoted sports fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to watch a game. He also took great pride in maintaining his yard and found peace in reading during quiet moments. Ryan cherished time spent with his grandchildren-Scout, Kobe, Remi, and Hannah-who brought him immense happiness.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Jason (Kathy), Josh (Jenine), and Jeff; his brother Dean (Elaine); and his grandchildren. Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Edmund Freiheit.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 27, 2025, from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Ryan's home 6786 River Road in Flushing, MI. We are having a visitation style celebration of live.
