Sally Damien Obituary
Sally retired from Inertia Dynamics in Canton, CT, where her work ethic and dedication were well respected. Following retirement, she embraced the lifestyle of a Snow Bird, enjoying winters in Lakeland, FL, which she loved dearly. Sally had a variety of hobbies that kept her active and engaged. She was an avid viewer of golf tournaments, found pleasure in word searches, puzzles, and walking as much as possible, and enjoyed the camaraderie of playing bingo.
Sally is survived by her son Paul and his wife Laura of Summerfield, FL; her daughter Lynn Reyell and her husband Irving of Winsted, CT; her grandson David Hyde and his wife Raffaela of Simsbury, CT; and her granddaughter Danielle Hyde and her partner Kevin of New Hartford, CT.
The family has chosen to keep the details of Sally's services at their discretion. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Collinsville Fire Department in her memory, honoring Sally's spirit of community support and generosity. Sally's legacy of kindness and her zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her.

I guess I'll be the first one.
My mom,
She was awesome, I could stop there, but theirs more. 93 years, we hope so.
I couldn't ask for a better mother and other than my father's alcoholism, I personally wouldn't change anything. I wish she was still with us, but she was in pain and just couldn't move much at the end, so her passing was an inevitable blessing.
She was always there for for me; always!
Mom made me say my prayers at bedtime, then tucked me in. Not making that up!
Helped with my ever growing homework!
Always supportive in all my endeavors, even if she knew they would end badly sometimes.
My mom almost loved everyone. My wife, my friends and her sisters and extended family members too.
To sum it all up...miss terribly always will, glad she was my mom. And wouldn't want any other person to have been my Mom.
