Born on May 25, 1949 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of James and Veryl Hartzell MacDonald, of Carlisle.
She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1967. She previously worked at M&Z Carpets as a salesperson. She was a member of the the West Shore Evangelical Free Church, Mechanicsburg, where she worked in the nursery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl J. DeAngelo; four sons, Carl "Corry" J. II and Timothy J., both of Carlisle, Anthony J. of Bethlehem, Joseph Kumer of Erie; a daughter, Joy D. Bowman of Harrisburg; three sisters, Sue M. Bender of Sellersville, PA, Theresa M. Downs of Camp Hill and Wendy M. Oiler of Carlisle; three brothers, Ted. A MacDonald and Steven J. MacDonald, both of Carlisle and James J. MacDonald of Dillsburg; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, in the West Shore Evangelical Free Church, 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Phillip R. Thorne and Rev. Steven J. Musser, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends after the service in the church.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Shore Evangelical Free Church, Building Fund, 105 S. Market Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
