Sally Olinger Obituary
A lifelong adventurer with an indomitable spirit, Sally grew up in Vandergrift, where she cherished simple joys and formed lifelong friendships. She graduated from Vandergrift High School in 1957. In 1959, she married Robert "Oley" Olinger, who preceded her in death in 2015. Together they raised four children: the late Louise Peoples (Paul), Elizabeth Barela (Jeff), Robert Olinger (Nancy), and John Olinger (Catherine).
Sally built a successful career as the owner of Olsten Staffing in Albuquerque, NM, where she helped countless people find employment and achieve their dreams. She was recognized multiple times as "Woman Business Owner of the Year." Later, she worked as HR Director at Montebello Retirement Home.
Family was Sally's greatest joy. She was a beloved grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Paul O. Peoples (Ginger), Erin Peoples, Luke Peoples (Emily), Tyler Barela (Courtney), Lauren Barela (Elias Fenstermacher), Jordan Olinger (Kelsey), Sarah Olinger, Casey Olinger (Joseph Loughrin), and John Olinger.
Sally's family continued to grow, and she delighted in her twelve great-grandchildren with one more expected soon.
Sally's warmth, humor, and generosity touched all who knew her. She never met a stranger and leaves behind countless friends who she loved dearly. Family and friends will miss her tremendously.
The family will announce the date for a service and celebration of life soon.

She was a good person, and was great to me while working for her at Olsten Temporary Services!!
