Sally Sheldon (Colson) Obituary
Sally's love and dedication to her family was evident in every way. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Sally's love for her grandchildren was known to all who knew her. She was Auntie -Grama to her nieces and nephews.
Sally spent endless hours working in her yard and her passion for holiday decorating brought joy to all, especially the neighborhood children.
Sally was a friend to many, always offering a helping hand. She was known for her long red hair as well as her fiery and fun personality.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Sally is survived by her husband, Jonathan Sheldon, son Jeffrey Sheldon (Heather), daughter Heidi Crane (Sheldon), sister Cynthia Colson-White (Phillip); and brothers, Edward and Roy Colson. Grandchildren Zoe Jane and Aaden Scott Crane, Sister-in-laws Andrea Flemke, Brenda and Betty Sheldon and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Sally will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Suffield Emergency Aid Association.

I was so saddened to hear of Sally's passing, and I want to extend my sincere condolences to her family. (I hold you all in my heart & prayers during this very difficult time.)
Sally was one of a kind. She had an open & generous heart for all, and she took me under her wing and into her family many years ago. I cherish every memory of the times I spent with her. My gosh - too many comical times to tell....
She took on so much in her life seemingly tirelessly yet she always seemed to smile, & she brightened my life and the lives of many others. Now she will add light to the stars in Heaven!
She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing!! I have known her for many years and absolutely loved her sense of humor and that she had spoke her mind, no matter who was around!! Her mom and my mom worked together at Baker's nursery! I remember being in the hospital for surgery and her mom and I ended up being roommates...and of course, Sally had got quite the laugh when she visited!! My deepest sympathy to Sally's entire family!! I will miss her so much!!

I remember her working for my parents at Kathy and Bobs restaurant when I was a child and helping care for my grandmother later on in years. A lot of funny Billy's Pizza memories. I also remember moving to Agawam but I did not want to change schools. Sally would come pick me up every morning so I could still go to school with Heidi.
But I will never forget as a teenager Sally caught Heidi, myself and our other friend Becky drinking. It was very late. She was way too easy on us. Couldn't figure out why. But we realized it bright and early the next morning when she woke us up banging pots and pans together over our heads while we were sleeping. I have a million memories of Sally. But that's one of my favorites.
Sally was an amazingly strong, overly dedicated beautiful woman. I will as long as I live never forget her!
