Obituary:

Salvador Gutierrez, a dedicated supervisor for the City of San Jose and Burlingame, passed away on November 26, 2022, in San Jose, California, at the age of 79. Born on July 20, 1943, in Mexico City, Salvador spent 40 years of his life serving the community in his role. He was known for his hard work, leadership, and commitment to his profession.

Salvador was a known Raiders fan and attended local football games. He enjoyed staying active by frequenting the gym and embarking on trips to Reno. He cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Jack, and found joy in daily interactions with his family, friends and neighbors. His roots were deeply planted in the house he grew up in 1343 San Juan Ave, where he resided until his final days.

Salvador Gutierrez is survived by his loving family: Bob Gutierrez, James Gutierrez, Gina Abraham, Tiffany Preston, James Gutierrez, Trevor Gutierrez, Genevieve Clock, Lily Gutierrez, Laura Gutierrez, Jonah Abraham, Wolfgang Clock, Lars Clock, Ofelia Harden, and Leonard Castaneda. He was preceded in death by Maria Castaneda.

Salvador Gutierrez will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work, his love for his family, and his presence in the community. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew and loved him.
