Was so sad to learn of Sal’s passing. Sal was such a big presence in White Plains, such a big heart, so interested in everyone, cut my son’s hair many times when he was young. Loved hearing all his stories and looking through all the memorabilia on his wall with him. Gone way too soon. Sincerest condolences to his beloved family, may his best traits continue on in his family and his memory be a blessing.

Sal! So many years and great memories, from Highlands Junior High on...driving me, JoAnne and Sandra to high school and charging us $2 a week...(“what’s today, ladies? Pay Day....!”). Milk Maid, DePalo’s, Years later giving my boy, Rich, his first haircut! Yes, he got his certificate... Be at Rest Now. You will be missed.

Sal better known as "telephone, telegraph and tell sal"
His father cut my hair and many other well known locals and Sal took care of me for many many years The highlight of my trips from Fla was my visit to Sal. He was upbeat, well informed and never in doubt. Many Judges, attys, politicians and savy buisness men sought his opinion, and he never with held it. He made this world a better place, and should always be remembered for his cheerful good will
