I think of Sam often. He was a great teacher and a loyal friend. Never had a better hunting buddy. Looking forward to seeing you beyond the veil.

Greetings and prayers of our Lord's loving care of you all, the Belk famiy, during such a difficult loss in your lives.
Hi, I do remember Mr. Belk well, his wonderful, ever present smile and the joy he seemed to receive when teaching. I later went into the medical field and have great teachers at SRJHS & SRHS to thank for my decision.
Mr. Belk was also a friend of and fellow teacher to my father, Rod Grant, who taught math at SRHS and math and science for a short time at SRJHS. Daddy died about 9 years ago so I imagine the two of them will see each other in the big teacher's lounge up above.
Bless, Bless

We have so many happy memories of Sam. Jim enjoyed fishing and picking the guitar with him. We enjoyed knowing Sam and Joanne for 60 years plus. We are old Army buddies with Sam.

Sam was one of the great teachers at Snake River High School, a wonderful friend, an energetic successful hunting partner and a wonderful husband and father. He loved life and was a joyful guy who loved telling stories, laughing, playing his guitar with his friends and children, He love to fish on the Snake River and everywhere else in Idaho or on the coast. We hunted pigs in California, elk in Toboggan Ridge, deer all over Southern Idaho. He was my best friend. I shall really miss him. Shirley and I express our condolences and love to his family.
