Samuel Morreale III Samuel Morreale III, 60, of Council Street, died Friday, May 30, 2008 in Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Morreale was born February 5, 1948 in Niagara Falls, the son of Anna (Calabrese) Morreale of this city and the late Samuel Morreale II. He attended local schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Sam was employed as an electrician for 17 years at Alcam and then was the owner of Culbert’s Hotel in LaSalle. He enjoyed OTB, hunting and fishing, apples pies and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. (Cornell) Morreale; a son, Brian (Kelly) Morreale of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Samantha (David) Tecchio of Poughkeepsie, NY; his mother, Anna Morreale of this city; two brothers, Jerry Morreale of San Francisco, CA and Richard Morreale of this city; four grandchildren, David, Brianna, Alexandria “Ally” and Jonathan; his best friend, Buddy, who was with him to the end and all his friends from the “Breakfast Club” at the Sunshine Cafe. He was the nephew of the late Steve Morreale. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Monday in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
