Sandra Z. Diamantakis

PLAISTOW, N.H. — Sandra Z. Diamantakis, 45, of Plaistow, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 in Haverhill.

Born in Fair Lawn, N.J., daughter of the late Abram and Ida (Winograd) Zuckerman, she graduated from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with her degree in sociology and later from Worcester State College with a degree in occupational therapy.

Sandra was employed as an occupational therapist for local hospitals and most recently with her husband was the co-owner and operator of Steve's House of Pizza in Haverhill.

A resident of Plaistow since 2000, she was a former resident of Haverhill, Brookline and Worcester. She enjoyed reading, swimming, classical music, walking, and trips to Greece with her husband, and she was devoted to her cat.

She is survived by her husband, Vasilios "Bill" Diamantakis, a daughter, Antonia Abbey Diamantakis, both of Plaistow, a brother-in-law, Costas Diamantakis, of Lynn, a sister, an uncle and several extended family members in Greece.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Plaistow Cemetery.
