Sandra Jean Knopp

Sandra Jean Knopp (nee House), 82 of Trout Run, PA, entered into the arms of her Savior Jesus August 10, 2023. Sandy was a blessing to many as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and servant of Christ in her church. She was known for her music, both as a vocalist and guitarist, and for her ability to bring joy to others, whether as a children's class teacher, care center volunteer or as a consummate cook and baker. Over the years she was employed as a care center worker, a grocery clerk, and a bank teller, but always felt that home and family were her primary callings.

Sandy was proceeded in death by her first husband, Raymond "Butch" Kephart, by brothers Jack and Raymond House, and by her sister Joyce Broughton. She is survived by her husband John Knopp, sons Jeffrey (Donna) Kephart, and Michael (Jill) Kephart, stepsons John (Holly) Knopp, Jay (Kim) Knopp, stepdaughter Janice (Bob) Miller, sisters Elaine (Lyle) Brion, Arlene Deppen, and Lynn (Mick) Warso, as well numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at 10AM Saturday, August 19th at White Pine United Methodist Church near White Pine, PA, with a memorial service at 11AM. A committal service will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Hartsfield, PA.
