Sandra Lorraine Ouellette

Sandra Lorraine Ouellette, born on January 17, 1952, in Quantico, VA, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, in La Jolla, CA.

Sandra was born into a Marine Corps family, which provided her with a rich tapestry of experiences and cultures as they moved across the country. Her formative years were spent in various locales, including Virginia, North Carolina, Hawaii, and California. This diverse upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for the different places and people she encountered.

Sandra graduated in 1969 from Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, CA, where she developed lifelong friendships and a passion for learning. She continued her education at Orange Coast College, furthering her knowledge and skills.

Sandra's career was as varied and dynamic as her upbringing. She was previously employed by the Koll Company of Newport Beach, where she showcased her exceptional skills at the gift store at the Palmilla Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. Her work there was marked by her dedication and ability to create welcoming and memorable experiences for all who visited. She was always interested in organic food, working with several organizations promoting healthy eating.

In addition to her professional achievements, Sandra was committed to giving back to her community. She volunteered with a charity, Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad, CA, where her compassionate nature and generous spirit touched the lives of many. Her efforts and dedication to helping others will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sandra's legacy is one of kindness, service, and a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, including her stepfather Walter Felber, brother Bruce Voss, nephews Ian and Cameron Voss, and her sisters-in-law Robin Voss and Tatiana Voss.

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 11:00 am on September 28, 2024, at Batiquitos Lagoon, 7380 Gabbiano Lane, Carlsbad, CA, 92011. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to this charity she so passionately supported in Carlsbad, CA.

Sandra Lorraine Ouellette will always be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.
