Sandra “Sandy” Parker Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 26, 2025.
Sandra J. Parker ("Sandy") of Delafield, Wisconsin, passed into Eternal Life on February 1, 2025.

Sandy is remembered as a very sweet soul who loved spending time with her family, many dear friends and beloved dogs.

She cherished her time attending church service and bible study at Elmbrook Church. She loved to travel, was an amazing cook and always made the holidays with family so special and memorable. Sandy embraced her step-family as her own and provided love, care and support when anyone needed it. There were many times that without Sandy's love and support, getting through challenges would have been very difficult.

Sandy battled Alzheimer's for a number of years, and despite that, she was able to continue to smile, be silly and of course, be her sweet self. The families thank the staff at Hartland Terrace for the compassionate care they provided Sandy.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Parker, her parents, Richard and Jean Christie, brother, Jim Christie, loving step-daughter Cindy Wisth, step-grandson Dan Delfosse and her great niece Lailing Chao.

She is survived by her brother Tom (Jeanne) Christie, sister-in-law Sherry Christie, 4 step-children Lori Ravely, Sandy (Steve) Bucher, Steve (Kay) Parker and Carrie Parker, as well as her nieces Lorin (Glen) Jones, Tami Menting, Nicole Christie and nephews Jim (Pam) Christie and Dan Christie. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Sandy Wambach (Ron) and brother-in-law David Parker (Majda), 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many great & great-great nieces & nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Sandy will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and many close friends.

Visitation will be held at Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home, 10210 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis, WI on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm followed by a religious service.
