Santiago Moncayo Chairez Obituary
Rooted deeply in San Antonio's soil and spirit, Santiago's life unfolded with quiet strength and unwavering independence. The familiar streets and sunlit skies of his hometown is where embraced life on his own terms, finding solace in the simple cadence of his home.
Survived by his children: daughter Gina Chairez Blochlinger, son Benjamin Chairez, and daughter Andrea Chairez Zavala. His memory is cherished by his grandchildren: Justin Alexander Chairez, Christian Daniel Benavidez, Angelina Marie Andrade, Avigail Lina Chairez, Sydney Brooke Blochlinger, David Joseph Samudio, Amerie Naveen Lopez, Azlynn Juliet Gil, and Leilani Marie Berlanga. Santiago is also remembered by his older brother Leo Chairez and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Santiago's life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Mission Burial Park, located at 1700 SE Military Dr: Section 16C under Arbor in San Antonio, Texas.
In accordance with his final wishes, Santiago's ashes will be laid to rest beside his parents Fernando Chairez and Teodora Moncayo Chairez, sister Andrea Garcia, and brother Fernando Chairez.
May Santiago Benjamin Moncayo Chairez's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to those who loved him.
