Sara Whitson Obituary
For the past few years, Sara had also been an active participant in Relay For Life and Paint the Town. She enjoyed helping others through her practice and brightened the day of her co-workers by sharing her beautiful, sometimes mischievous smile, and an occasional batch of cookies.
Sara is survived by her parents, Jim and Karen (Thomas) Whitson, of Doty, her brother Jeramiah Whitson of Hillsboro, OR, grandmother, Elsie Whitson also of Doty, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved Finn, one of her best friends disguised as a dog.
A public memorial service will be held for Sara at the Chehalis First Baptist Church, 1866 S. Market, starting at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 12th, with Pastor Mark Wilks officiating. The public service will be preceded by a private graveside service at the Doty/Dryad cemetery, with Pastor Patrick Rua officiating. Visitation will be available at Sticklin Funeral Chapel from the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, September 10th and 11th.

I started out being Sara's client and ended up becoming a friend. Her enthusiasm for life, wit, and charm will be missed by many. She was an exceptional person and I am so grateful to have had her in my life. She spoke so highly of her family. My heart and prayers go out to you in this extremely difficult time. I was shocked to hear of your loss and can't even imagine how you are feeling, but I hope you find a way to find comfort in those close to you. Though Sara and I were not close friends, I did attend high school with her and remember her as a vibrant and determined young lady who was passionate about whatever she was doing! Reading the other entries, I find that she never lost those wonderful traits!!!

I was one of Saras clients. She was the best. And I told everyone so. I will sorely miss her beautiful smile and our talks of Finn her buddy. Sara was a bright vibrant woman who made others around her feel safe and valued. She spoke of you in the highest regard. (especially as Finn's babysitters) I am not sure how these voids are ever replaced but I am confident she is in a wonderful place. We are all thinking of you and want to thank you for letting us share her beauty and talent. You should be very very proud. She will always be remembered as exceptional!

I was so honored to be Sara's 'Work Mom' for the past gob of years. I was so blessed to have known such a wonderful and caring person. Sara always had the brightest smile on her face and was so full of life. She would light up a room with those big blue eyes of hers and gorgeous smile. Her energy was so contagious! I met Sara through my best friend and her brother, Jeramiah Whitson. She loved and cared for him so much. She was always telling me to take care of her big brother. Sara, I promise that I will always be there for him and love him as I know you did! A couple years ago,I had gone to see Sara because the Chiropractor at Steck told me that I should after discovering I had 3 vertebrae pinched into my ribs.Sara was EXCELLENT! She fixed that problem and I felt MUCH better after that..She was such a sweet person..I only went for one session,but she was truly sweet.I had heard what happened.Didnt know until yesterday it was her.I heard someone talking bout it.I knew I knew the name from somewhere.But forgot as I meet new people all the time.Then just today I look at the picture and I about fell out of my chair..I knew right away it was her.Then I read the article that said she worked at Steck..I was soo sad and shocked..
