JOHNSON CITY – Sarah Poole Snapp, 48, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City.
She was born in Lebanon, daughter of the late Buddy Poole. She was a graduate of Castlewood High School in 1976 and graduated from ETSU in 1980. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, St. Paul.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Snapp; mother, Shirley Poole Helton of Kingsport; three brothers, Mike Poole and wife Joyce of Apopka, Fla., Randy Poole and wife Kennetha (Kay) of Abingdon and Johnny Poole and wife Sara Jane of Lebanon; one stepsister, Kristi Campbell of Kingsport; one sister-in-law, Janice Snapp of Marysville, Pa.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thad and Juanita Snapp of Johnson City; one niece, Tracie Poole; and four nephews, John Michael Duty, David Owens, Andrew Poole and Adam Poole.
Funeral services for Sarah Poole Snapp will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with the Rev. Lee Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood.
Pallbearers will be David Owens, Andrew Poole, Adam Poole, D.C. Smith, Gary Dill and Walker Holland.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood. Online condolences may be sent to the Snapp family at www.castlewoodfuneralhome.com.

Sarah was Bridesmaid in our wedding almost 22 years ago. Backgammon, Jamaica, the Nantahala River, homemade biscuits and LOTS of other things will NEVER be the same. I will truly miss her.
