It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Caldwell of Carp. Scott passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the age of 77. Loving husband and best friend for 55 years to Audrey (née Argue). Beloved father of Fred (Jill), Ross (Andrea), Kathy Frederick (Brent) and Paul (Debbie). Cherished grandfather of Frederick, Ashley, Emma, Patricia, Erin, Charles, Brittany, Sarah and William. Dear brother of James (Dianne), John (Donna) and Helen Jean Catterill (Tim). Survived by brother-in-laws Frank (Elaine) Argue and Al Argue (Gail) and sister-in-law Mary Carry (Brian). Predeceased by his parents Eber and Hilda Caldwell; brother Allan (Joan) and sister Lorraine. Scott was a successful Dairy Farmer; Past President of the Carp Agricultural Society and a founding member of Wolfe Lake Hunt Camp. Special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Rivington and all the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at the Arnprior Hospital. Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Home, 115 Rivington St., Carp, on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, December 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Carp, on Sunday, December 28, at 2 p.m. DUE TO A SEVERE SCENT ALLERGY, NO PERFUME PLEASE. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Palliative Care Unit at the Arnprior Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences, tributes or donations may be made at

Sorry to hear of your loss. No doubt about it, Scott was a good man and he will be missed.
