Scott Cole Kozeny, 47, passed away November 16, 2009 at his home in Simpsonville, SC.

Prior to moving to Simpsonville in 2006, Scott was a longtime resident of Arlington, TX. Scott moved to Simpsonville to become Technical/Quality Manager with Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers, Inc.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Denita; three children, Madison, Bryan and Chelsea; his mother Ellen and step father Glenn Sparesus of Naples FL; a brother Kyle Kozeny of MI; a sister, Susan Handler of WA; and many nieces and nephews.

Scott was predeceased in death by a brother, Steven Kozeny.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Scott was always busy doing something and will be remembered not only for his love of music and the joy he found in cooking, but as a tremendously intelligent man, a good person, a kind and helpful friend, an extremely loving and considerate husband and father and will be missed by all that were fortunate to have known him. Scott's passing has left a void that can not be filled. His death will be mourned and he will be sorely missed; but his life will be celebrated by all that knew and loved him
