Scott McVay Obituary

Scott McVay passed away on May 9th at home with his wife Nancy. Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, Scott was the son of Roy Bruce and Florence McVay. Bruce was the town doctor in Clay Center, Kansas. Scott met Nancy Zeiler at the University of Colorado, Boulder. They married and he began a career in sales and marketing at IBM which took the family across the country from Colorado to Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Connecticut, California and Oregon. After retiring they found a home in Anthem, Arizona. He was a man of exceptional faith and found fellowship in Desert Valley Bible church where he was discipled and in turn discipled his brothers and found profound relationships with the family of faith. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy McVay, their son Mark, daughter Paige and grandson Sam McGee as well as his Brother Bruce and Sister Anne - his sister Mary has passed.
Services to be held at Desert View Bible Church, Saturday, May 22 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, consider giving to a charity of your choice.
