My sincerest condolences to the family. I have very fond memories of Scott. He was a mentor to many, including myself. He always made time for a conversation about business while at the same time injecting stories about his real passion, which was his family. I will miss his warm smile and quiet deep voice. He was a friend to all and will be missed.

Nancy,
I was stunned and saddened to learn of Scott´s passing. Although too infrequent the last couple of years, it was always great to catch up with Scott for a local craft beer at the end of one of his rides. Conversation always turned to family and how fortunate we were to be blessed with great kids and grandkids.
I have such fond memories of our trips together, dinners and just hanging out with you both. I´m honored to have been Scott´s friend and share a small bit of his life. I pray that you, the boys and all of Scott´s family find peace at this difficult time.

The news of Scott's passing left me with such a heavy heart! He was an incredible Mentor to me in my career! He was the BEST communicator! It was a joke he always said at work. (and all his co-workers will say the same thing) "No one can ever say that I didn't keep everyone in the know!" He was one of the most genuine people I have ever met! He was always surprising me with his new interests in retirement like investing in a "hot pepper" business! The sauces they made were nothing short of AMAZING! Scott, my friend, you are missed every day! Long may you ride!

When I began attending managers´ meetings, markets and such with Serta, Scott was one of the people I always looked forward to seeing. As we had both shared a past at Sealy as well, we never ran out of conversation material.
Professionally, he remained one of the most knowledgeable and insightful people in our business.
I was both shocked and saddened when I learned of his untimely passing, and my heart and prayers go out to all of his family.

Scott was an early mentor to me and gave me a real chance to learn and grow as a young professional. I am forever grateful for the time I spent working with him, going on the road and doing trade shows together. He taught me so many fundamental things about business and work that I still keep with me today. He appeared to really enjoy retirement and being a grandfather - and would reach out to check-in every once in a while. I am in shock. He will be missed and my condolences to his family.

I am one of Scott's Bikes & Beers friends, from charity bike rides and joyous after-parties. That's Rosemarie, Scott and me in the picture, whooping it up after a ride with a gang of friends. He was a goofy, charming, lovely friend and a wonderful gentleman as well. Our group will miss him terribly. Sending peace and strength to his family and friends at this time.

So sad to hear of Scott´s passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Scott while I was a Sales Representative for Serta Mattress Company. He helped shaped me with his knowledge and wisdom that I still use today after 25 years ago. Fly high Scott
