I was so sad to see that Scott had passed away! I see it has been many months, but I just came across this notice today.
I will be ever grateful for the leadership and love Bishop Turville provided as I was Relief Society president in the student ward where he served. I wish I had known him better, but I caught a glimpse in reading his sweet obituary.
Sending love and prayers for healing to the Turville family.

We called ourselves cousins, since our days of Roe Park. Our parents were best friends. Loved the whole family. My heart and prayers go to Scotts family and friends. Shelli{Hooton} Vedis.

After my parent´s divorce, they argued about who would baptize me. They both agreed on cousin Scott because they both agreed he was a worthy priesthood holder. He always felt like more of an uncle to me, probably because of the age difference. I will always remember him as a kind, sincere man with a great sense of humor. He always took care of everyone. You will be missed!
