SELINSGROVE - Sean E. Wise, 37, of Selinsgrove, formerly of Lock Haven, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, in Selinsgrove.
He was born March 20, 1966, in Lock Haven, a son of Dr. Robert C. and Mary (Clancy) Wise of Lock Haven.
He was a 1984 graduate of Lock Haven High School, where he was a three year varsity wrestler and football player.
He was a graduate of Scott Community College, Moline, Ill., and attended Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, Iowa. He completed his chiropractic studies at the Pennsylvania Chiropractic College, Philadelphia.
He was the owner and operator of the Wise Chiropractic Center, Selinsgrove.
Sean was a member of the American Chiropractic Society; the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association; and the Snyder County Chiropractic Society.
He was also a member of the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
He had been a volunteer assistant with the Selinsgrove High School Wrestling program.
Sean enjoyed hunting and was a member of Camp Nittany.
Sean had many special interests that are very familiar to his friends. He enjoyed playing golf and doing trivia. He was a great Penn State and Buffalo Bills fan. He was also a great lover of animals and will be especially missed by his German shorthair pointer, Otto, who had been his constant companion.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by one daughter, Sierra; one sister, Maggie A. Brush of Mason, Ohio; and two brothers, Robert C. Wise II of Lock Haven and Von P. Wise of Lock Haven.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, with a Vigil for the Deceased at 5:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, with the Rev. Daniel J. O'Neill officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lock Haven Catholic School Endowment Fund, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
