My prayers and thought are with your family. She was the best history teacher i ever knew. She is the reason both my children know so much about texas history, they missed out on her teachings, but she taught me and i am ever so thankful that i am able to pass that love of texas onto my children. She's greatest.

Sethora was a friend from the moment I met her. Everyone knew and remembered her...everywhere I went with her someone would come up to her and say hello. So many remembered her from her days as a teacher. She had friends of all ages...she was always so young and active. I will miss her.

I was taught by Mrs West at Katy JR High in 73-74 and she always treated us with kindness and she was a very sweet person to me even though we always got into mischief. We appreciate all she gave of herself to the community and we will miss her dearly.
