SHANNON DUFFY Obituary
Shannon L. Duffy, age 43, of Renfrew, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Shannon was a cook for Seneca Valley Middle School for the past 13 years. She also cooked for the Girl Scout Camp Redwing. She liked the outdoors, enjoying camping and canoeing. She loved animals in general, but particularly horses, especially her Bella and Sadie. She was a very giving person and, above all, her daughter Kayla was her pride and joy. She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Marie Greygor of Renfrew; parents, Robert and Gloria (Boss) Duffy of Allison Park; grandmother, Frieda Boss of Zelienople; sister, Erin Duffy of Emsworth, her fiancé, Bryan Hartman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Shannon's family will welcome friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw. She will be laid to rest in the Assumption Cemetery in Glenshaw. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her honor in support of the Equine Angels Rescue, Inc., 135 Durango Lane, Cabot, PA 16023. My deepest sympathy, so so sad to lose a loved one especially a young one so full of life. I feel honered to be her friend and admired her for how much my niece loved and looked up to her.
