Girth, Sharon Ann, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rosemary Girth (nee Kern); cherished niece of Alberta Mackowiak; loving sister of Donald J. (Sharon) Girth, Carolyn (Louis) Farrell and Ronald Girth; adoring aunt of Rev. Joseph, Mary, and Susan; loving friend to many. God blessed her with a kind and loving heart. She was renowned as a longtime resident of three St. Louis area nursing homes who strolled the hallways in her walker and wheelchair, singing joyfully for anyone who needed cheering up in life, and loving hugs even from strangers. At the end of the day, when all is said and done, those who came to know Sharon were blessed by God to encounter someone who embodied what Christ meant when He said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.”
Services: Funeral Mass at Holy Infant Catholic Church, Ballwin, Tuesday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Cousin Sharon Ann, I just can't believe that you aren't here anymore. I will miss your laughter, kindness, and the fondness for all of my homemade cookies and jewelry gifts. I remember spending summers with you and Aunt Rosie when Tom and I were little. They were some of the best memories that I will always hold dear to my heart. Give a real big hug to your Mom (my Aunt Rosie) and my Dad (your Uncle Tom) for me. I love you and I know that one day I will be able to share a peanut butter and maple syrup sandwich dipped in coffee with you and your Mom again. Heaven just received one of the best and happiest angels ever!
