I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Sharon. We both worked for Kern County for years, and she became not just a co-worker, but a sweet friend. Always kind, always helpful, she made the days go by a little easier. I live in Oklahoma now, but I treasure the many memories we shared down on Truxtun Avenue. Rest in Peace, my lovely friend.

I was blessed to know Sharon as a part of the Public Works Department and as a member of the Administrative Office.
Sharon was an exceptional employee. Her work acumen was above any expectation. She was thoughtful, thorough and precise. No task was beneath her effort nor any beyond her ability to conquer.
She was kind and friendly and always supportive of others. She had the most pleasant disposition and seemingly always smiled. She was cheerful and uplifting and continually found words of encouragement.
She consistently expressed words of support and admiration for her family. She greatly loved them all.
It is, of course, sad to hear of her passing. But she always expressed a strong faith in God and His Son Jesus. May her soul rest in peace and may God open wide the Gates to the Kingdom and welcome Sharon.

I´m sorry for the family´s loss. I worked with Sharon over the years in Kern County and always appreciated her kindness and helpfulness. We served on several interview panels together and she was always fair but insightful. Praying the family takes some comfort in what a special lady she was.
