Sheila Prater Obituary
She loved strong motivational scriptures, absolutely loved money, she loved her shoes and Sheila was definitely a "Daddy's Girl."
She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Travonte' Prater and Tiara Vaughn Jones (Marcus); her six grandchildren, Lauryn, Ty'Rien, Robert, Prince, Mina; father, Rev. Charles Prater, Sr. (Emily) and mother, Ruby Prater; brothers, Jerry D. Prater, Sr., Ronnie Charles Prater, Sr., Charles Prater, Jr. and Walter Prater; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation/Wake will 6p.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Pearly Gate Baptist Church, 6021 Houston School Rd., Dallas, TX 75241. Celebration of Life will be 11a.m., Monday, March 11, 2019 at Pearly Gate Baptist Church, 6021 Houston School Rd., Dallas, TX 75241. Interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 S.R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232

Im so thankful that I got to know Sheila she has such a beautiful heart and soul. I will hold on to my memories of her and how much she loved her family. Words cant describe how much I love her and miss her. I know we will meet again soon in heaven. Until then Ill play our song You Say and think of you. Love you always my sister!
