QUINCY -- Shirley Ann Collins, 86, of 902 Adams, died at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Blessing Hospital.

Shirley was born Jan. 13, 1930, in Burlington, Iowa, a daughter of Warren Frederick and Violet Marie Bowman Myers. She married Larry Collins on Nov. 28, 1980, in New Orleans, La. He survives.

She enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River, watching NASCAR and motocross, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by two children, Belinda "Buffy" Peters of Palmyra, Mo., and Warren Wm. Wegman of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren, Robin Vineyard, Warren Wegman Jr., Jackson Hiland, Brandy Peters, Haylee Wegman and Heather Wegman; seven great-grandchildren, Maddison Hiland, Jack Hiland, Jake Hiland, Tyler Spicknall, Kane Vineyard, Sydney Vineyard and William Sullins.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.

SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

MEMORIALS: To the donor's choice.
