Shirley Jo DuBois Carey, RN, MSN, PhD, 83, of Flowery Branch died Jan. 5.
She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Virginia DuBois, husband, George "Gus" Edward Carey. She is survived by children Elizabeth Ann Carey Hope (Jimmy Loo), Constance Jo Carey (Ben Peck), Joanne Rachel Carey, brothers, Richard DuBois (Jan), Dennis Dubois (Susie), sisters, Debianne Peterman (Bob), Linda DuBois (Dave). Grand children, Stephen Randall Elliott, Taylor Brooke Hope (William Leighton), Danielle Lee Bedsole, Madeline Hope Krilla (Kirk), Parker David Hope; Great grandchildren, Braelynn Emma Elliott, Saxton Royce Krilla, Stella Rose Krilla and many nieces, nephews.
The family will receive friends and family from noon – 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, service will follow at 1 p.m., Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Dr, Gainesville GA, 30504. Family and friends are invited to gather at her residence for fellowship immediately following the service.
