Shirley Ann Klante, aged 93, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in New Berlin, WI, surrounded by loving family. Born on April 23, 1932, Shirley dedicated many years of her life working at JCPenney, where she formed lasting relationships and contributed significantly to her community.

Shirley was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother, known for her warm and welcoming nature. Her love for cooking was evident in the meals she lovingly prepared for her family and friends. Shirley also enjoyed traveling and cherished the companionship of her dogs, which brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her life.

She leaves behind a loving family: her brother Dennis Buerman; her sons, Gerald Klante and his wife Kim, and Robert Klante; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Klante; her grandchildren, Erin, Amy, Ryan, Robert, Kyle, Eric, Matthew, Jeremy, and Nathan; and 21 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Klante; her children, Linda Behrens (Klante), John Klante, and Thomas Klante; her grandchildren, TJ Klante, and Jeremy Klante; her brother Fred Buerman

The family invites friends and relatives to a visitation on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11 am, followed by a service at 12 pm at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 13200 W. Greenfield Ave., Brookfield, WI 53005. A luncheon will follow the service, where attendees can share memories and celebrate Shirley's life.
