Shirley Povitz

POVITZ, Shirley (nee Dunn). After a courageous battle, on Friday, March 21, 2008 on her seventy-ninth birthday and her sixtieth wedding anniversary. Beloved wife of Fred. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Earl and Elaine, and Cary. Cherished "Ba" of Shaun and Kurt Sarno, Richard, Lauren, Lana and James Povitz. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Hazel and the late David Dunn and sister-in-law of David and the late Dorothy Povitz. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many very close friends. Shirley was a special lady whose memory will remain in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Metrakos, the Purple Team and the wonderful staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital (Ross Pavilion - 3rd floor).
