Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY 11104).
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:30 AM, at St. Demetrios Cathedral (30-11 30th Drive, Astoria, NY 11102).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Sophia's memory to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org).

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Sophia's passing. Words cannot ease the pain you are feeling, but I hope you find comfort in the love and support of those around you and in the beautiful memories you built and shared with Sophia.
I only met Sophia once, a long time ago during a business trip to New York, but I grew up with Mihalis. We were classmates as well. Last year while in Paros, my husband and I visited with Mihalis and we talked a lot about Sophia's kindness and spirit.
Please accept my deepest condolences. May God give you and the family the strength to go through these difficult times. May her memory be eternal!

I was deeply saddened to learn of Sophia's passing.
My deepest sympathy to the family.
Sophia was my best friend at Queens College...we met as freshmen.
We had such wonderful times ...memories abound!
Sophia served as my bridesmaid in1968, the year after we graduated.
She will forever be in my Heart.
