Sophie Brigitte Lambert Lamour, age 62 has passed away, at her cherished home in Mallorca, Spain where she had been living for the past several years. Her beloved children, Raphael and Oceana were by her side every moment from the brief time her illness was diagnosed to her eventual passing. Born in Paris, France, Sophie moved to Los Angeles when she was 18. She met with early success as a model and actress for global fashion brands, television and films. She eventually left the entertainment business to raise her two children, and give her time to numerous charitable activities, such as aid to the homeless and abused women and children. She was a remarkably beautiful woman in mind, body and soul, with her friends referring to her as "The Goddess of Love and Wisdom" a very appropriate description of this kind, gentle and loving woman who was also fearless possessing amazing strength which inspired everyone around her. She would be present and attentive to whomever she met, giving her time and energy effortlessly, with remarkable skills allowing her to beautify any environment she was a part of. She was preceded in passing by her beloved Grandmother, Marie-Magdeleine Fraenzel, Father Paul and Mother Claudine, and is survived by her children Raphael and Oceana Mawrence, her former partner, Mark Mawrence, and her brother Charles. A Charitable Non-Profit organization "The Sophie Lamour Foundation" is being established to continue her work aiding women and children in need. Her cherished memory will live on forever.
