Stacey was born on January 24, 1953, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Vinetta Torres Daniels and Abraham Daniels. As an early entrepreneur at the age of twelve, Stacey cut the lawns of residents, affording him the opportunity to buy his first bike. His early success and exposure to business, had a profound impact upon Stacey. He continued to develop an interest in math throughout High School and College, where he tutored many students.
Stacey played the saxophone, was a member of the track and wrestling teams and became Junior Class President. He graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1970 and entered Drexel University, where he earned an Accounting Degree. In 1979.
In 1973, Stacey married his Sweetheart Rena Allen Daniels, whom he was married to for forty-eight years. (He would have turned seventy on January 24th and been married for forty-nine years on January 26th). He adored their daughter Miesha Daniels Burton, who started working in his agency at the age of ten, which was a great foundation for her successful career in Business.
Stacey began his professional career as an Accounting Supervisor at State Farm Insurance Company, where he worked from 1979 through 1984. He achieved his goal of becoming a Business Owner, when he opened Stacey Daniels Insurance, Inc., which he continued to build until his retirement in July 2020. Always interested in giving back, Stacey served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years, was a Guest Speaker at High Schools regarding Insurance and Driver Safety, was President of The Life Underwriters and earned several awards for achievement in Sales, as a State Farm Insurance Agent.
He enjoyed spending fun times with family (especially our sweet granddaughter Serena) and friends, traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines and watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Football. Stacey was also a voracious reader, enjoyed maintaining our beautiful flowers in Chester Springs and waking up early each morning for a little quite time to spend with the Lord.
Stacey was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Daniels; his mother, Vinetta Torres Daniels, and brother Eugene English (Bea).
Stacey is survived by his Loving Wife Rena, Beloved Daughter Miesha Daniels Burton (Son-In-Law Ty), Beautiful-High Energy Granddaughter Serena (His Special Buddy); Brothers, Dale Campbell (Margie), Forrest Daniels (Betty), Kevin Daniels (Rhonda), Sisters, Phyllis Campbell, and Marva Tyson (Clarence), mother-in-law Joan Allen, Brother’s In-Law, Eddie Robert Allen, Richard Allen (Rose) and Ronald Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and countless friends.

My condolences to his family. I did not know of his passing until today. Stacey was like a father to me. I could walk in the office unannounced and he would drop everything to give me a few minutes of his time. He could tell I needed to talk. He was the kindest, loving, patient and funny man always making me laugh with his insight and jokes. He always would tell me God will always have the final say and he was always right! Im deeply saddened to lose such a being! He will never be forgotten,30 year State Farm Agent to me and friend.

In our experience Stacey was the person who made everyone else smile and laugh. We so enjoyed having him join our State Farm Agent's district. He was always so kind and interested in the well being of others. We missed seeing him after we retired. We wished him a long and happy life when he retired. God's plan is not always ours and accepting that is difficult when we lose someone we loved. We were so sorry that we missed his viewing and funeral. We didn't become aware of your loss until it was too late to attend. When we think of our years with State Farm, Stacey will be among our best memories. Our warmest wished to Rena and Miesha.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Stacey was our insurance agent for more than 25 years. He always treated us as family and was always there when we needed him. May he rest in the loving presence of God, our Father, and may his family be comforted by God’s love at this difficult time.

Stacey became my insurance agent back in 1990 when I got out of the military and moved into the area to continue my education. What started as a businessman/client relationship grew into a friendship. We enjoyed joking around with each other and I enjoyed making him laugh - he was a genuine, intelligent, kind man who will be sorely missed.

Rena, Miesha, & Family,
We are deeply sadden to hear about Stacey's passing. He was not only our SF Insurance Agent for over 30 + years but Stacey was also a dear friend. His wonderful personality, love for God's Word, and passion to teach and mentor youth, made him an outstanding Sunday School Teacher & Youth Advisor. It was a real pleasure working with & beside him at St. Paul's Church. Stacey was a real gentleman & gentle man. We are thankful that our paths crossed. Our sincere condolences to the family. May God bless and keep you during this difficult time.

Me and Stacey go a long way back at Ebenezer Baptist Church I was just a little brat going to Sunday school with Kevin; Along with our fathers serving as deacons together I always did look up to him. The same respect I gave to his parents he gave to mine. You can only say good things about Stacey that's for sure

Stacey Daniels was an amazing man. We worked together in our early days as State Farm Operations Employees. He was always looking to give new employees a helping hand by guiding them as they navigated their new workplace. Even after he became an agent, he had no problem sharing his wealth of knowledge with operations employees who were contemplating agency. He was a kind gentleman, but strong in his convictions to always do the right thing. He was very proud of his beloved Rena and Miesha and shared tidbits about them all the time. May God continue to bless and keep Stacey's family strong as he rest in peace and love in God’s arms.

Rena and family
Stacey and I became friends while working together in St Paul's Sunday School. We shared a passion to mentor and empower youth as well as a love of track and field and playing the saxophone. He was dedicated and precise in everything I knew him to do. He and I had recently reconnected after both of us moving to NC. to enjoy retirement. God has a new Angel and we all have been impacted by and have great memories of Stacey. To God be the glory.

As we go through life there are very few people , men, that you can say “he was a gentleman, truly a nice guy”.
Stacey had a way of just touching people. It was obvious that he was spiritually lead and I did not know about his relationship with the Lord and his church until last Sunday while visiting his church. It was mentioned how he taught Sunday School there, for 30 years, and it quickly all made sense.
Rena, Thanks for sharing him with me and so many people. Our laughs about Millersville and Lancaster County and those“times” on West Chester Pike were priceless and will never be forgotten. The song, “May The Works I’ve Done Speak For Me “ was written for a man, a husband, a father, grand father and my friend named Stacey Daniels.

Stacey was one of my supervisors in the Accounting Department in the Pennsylvania State Farm Regional Office. When he left Accounting to become a State Farm agent, I moved my State Farm policies to him for servicing. I thought highly of Stacey and his abilities. But more so I considered him a person of great ability with the largest heart. We have lost a super friend, but I will never forget Stacey. He will live on in our hearts.

Stacey & his family have been dear friends since the mid eighties. We've shared countless trips, countless family cookouts, & just plain fun. It's rare that you find someone that you connect with right away, shares your values & the friendship endures thru time & distance. Stacey will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Our deepest condolences from the Bohannon family to yours.
