Stacy English

Stacy English, a beloved mother, devoted daughter, cherished spouse, and faithful servant of Christ, passed into eternal rest on April 24th, 2025 at the age of 58.

She was born on December 11th, 1966 in Marrero, Louisiana and lived a life marked by unwavering faith, compassion, and an unshakable commitment to those she loved. She was the heart of her family - a nurturing mother whose love knew no bounds, a devoted daughter and a loyal spouse whose partnership was grounded in mutual respect.

Stacy was a woman of deep spiritual conviction, living each day guided by her trust in God's promises. Her faith was not only professed but lived out - in her service to others, in the kindness she showed to strangers, and in the sacrifices she made quietly, without recognition or reward. She exemplified the teachings of Christ in every facet of her life, and her home was one of peace, prayer, and love.

Her selflessness knew no limits and she loved life itself. Whether offering a listening ear, preparing a warm meal, or staying up late in prayer for those in need, Stacy gave of herself freely. She was a quiet force of strength, always putting the needs of others before her own, and she carried the burdens of her loved ones with tenderness and courage.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. She is survived by her loving spouse, Glenn Lecompte, her daughter, Kayla English, her mother, Sandra Cheramie Aucoin and brothers, Clint and Mark Cambre who will continue to carry her spirit in their hearts and strive to live out the values she so gracefully embodied. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Courtney Ruttley, father, Clifton Cambre and step-father, Stephen Aucoin.

A celebration of her life and faith will be held on May 24th, 2025 at Celebration church located at 2001 Airline Drive Metairie, La 70001 from 12pm- 2pm. In honoring her memory, the family asks that we not mourn her passing, but give thanks for the blessing of having known her - a true woman of God.
