Dear Beth and Bohdan, I will dearly miss Stasiu, he was my favorite tenting buddy and was always a major help on campouts. He was not afraid to get his hands dirty and he always carried himself in a respectable way. The younger scouts looked up to him and he set a great example for them. I remember discussing our views on the world and it´s dilemmas late into the night on the last Woodruff campout he went on. He had strong views on many topics that you could tell came from the heart, despite his passion he was always willing to listen to you even if he didn´t agree with what you said. There is no doubt in my mind that hiss loss will send waves through the community. Knowing the kind of person (some words that come to mind are peaceful, intelligent, caring, and respectful) he was and the contributions he has made I can assume that he must have had a plethora of friends in school and the community and there will be a huge hole in their hearts that may never repair itself. I also believe that because of his care for others he doesn´t want us to live in sorrow from his loss and that we need to come together and fill the hole with love and compassion for each other. Stasiu will be forever remembered in my heart as well as severely missed, I will let his memory be a reminder to always show kindness to others and to be there for others when they are down.

Beth and Bohdan our hearts are broken for you. Dave, Jonathon, Nicholas and I have such fond memories of the little blond-haired bundle of energy who lived next door to us. Stasiu was so full of life and a true delight. We pray for strength and peace for you and your entire family.
