I was fortunate to spend time as a young coach with Coach at SRU. What a blessing to learn from him. Learned football but also learned about being a gentleman. I still fall back on lessons learned from him. First class man.

Coach you have been an inspiration to many and your life teachings have been priceless. Art was a great guy who went out of his way to make you feel special. He even went out of his way to attend my wedding at the age of 84. Rest in peace Coach and friend.

My sincere sympathy to Coach's entire family. He lived a full life with so many accomplishments and honors. I have the honor of being Coach's first quarterback when he came to Butler High. He treated everyone with full respect and a type of man you immediately liked. May God receive him with open arms. God Bless !!

My Condolences to the family. So sorry to hear the sad news. Art was one of the best football coaches Butler ever had. My son, Robby Queen played for him back in the 1980's and I had 100 percent confidence that he would train and guide Robby and all the other players in positive directions to becoming fine young men.
Art will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace.
