Sorry this is a bit late, it was just sent to me. Hope you all get to see my message. What a beautiful obituary for a beautiful, amazing woman; masterpieces both! Sending my love and deepest sympathy. It has been my blessing to know and love you and now Stacey as we sing soprano together in the Midway Swiss Chorus. We're praying for your comfort and peace at this time of sorrow. Sending much love and many hugs, Kerry & Sheila Siggard (Sandy Granite Ward then, Farm Springs Ward in Midway now.)

Grandma always knew how to take care of her grandchildren. Either using ginger ale or chocolate, we were always cared for. I love you forever

Stephanie and David were our neighbors in Redmond Washington. They are the BEST friends that a person could want. I used to love to hear her teaching students the piano. The music was very comforting to me.

Memory shared by Allison Weiss: Stephanie Young was my first piano teacher, if memory serves. They had the picture of George Washington praying over their mantel and a sweet spirit in their home. Great examples both of them!

David,
Jeannine and I were so saddened to learn of your wife's passing. While we did not know her, working with you at the FHL was always a pleasure and we count you as a great friend. We pray you will be blessed with strength at this time and know that we love you. Kirk & Jeannine (aka Pres. & Sis. Larsen)

Stephanie was the very talented accompanist for our New Canaan Ward Choir (CT). She always made our choir sound better than we were. Many times after our performances I would thank her, especially when she was required to play particularly challenging accompaniments. One time I remember her saying, "It´s not always what you play, but what you don´t play!" So funny but true. Stephanie brought so much light into the world. My heart breaks for her wonderful family. I will miss you! XO

The joy and pleasure of meeting Stephanie occurred during the period of time that my associate Kim Jorgensen and I remodeled a kitchen family room and master bath for the Youngs. She was always there with her smile and her greeting and encouragement.
So sad to hear of her passing and for the family and for our dear friend David, our love and our gratitude for being a part of your lives with the project.

Stephanie was warm and kind and inviting. She was a born piano prodigy with a sharp wit and a keen sense of humor. She was one of my favorite cousins. She exemplified the gospel as a true " mother in Zion". She will be dearly missed by her lovely family and husband. Our hearts go out to David and her children and grandchildren and friends. We love you, dear sweet Stephanie. Until we meet again!
