I was so sad to hear the news about Dr. Akimoto. My son chipped his tooth on a Friday night and was in a lot of pain. I looked up emergency dentists and his name popped up. He met me in his office at 9:30 at night that Friday! He was so extremely nice and did a great job fixing my son's tooth. He will truely be missed in this world.

I shared the story of losing our wonderful Doctor with my Lily Girl. That has been battling Radbo Cancer, she is so sad about it. Dr. Akimoto's chair was the only chair she would willing & love to have her teeth checked. But she understands about that bad word cancer she said with a tear rolling down her face.We miss you so very much. But then she said to me"But grandma now he is watching over his family & & earned his wings" Love to the entire family.

My family and I were very saddened to hear of Dr. Akimoto's passing. It was eight and a half years ago that I found myself without a dentist and with an infected tooth. It was over memorial day weekend, and I called every dentist in the phone book. The only one that called me back that Saturday, was Dr. Akimoto. His office was closed, but he opened just for me, and provided me with dental care. I have never forgotten that, and have been a patient ever since. He made my visits to the dentist very pleasant with his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by my family and I. May God bless you. He will truly be missed.

Dr. Akimoto was an outstanding dentist and an even better person/ friend. He was very passionate at what he does --and as a person, very modest and down to earth despite his talents and smarts. I'll forever appreciate all his professional advice. I'll treasure the one time I joined his after-work-jam-sessions ( and regret not having joined him for more ). I feel blessed to have crossed his path. We miss you doc --you'll be in our prayers.

We are truly saddened by the news. Dr. Akimoto was a kind and wonderful man and a talented dentist. I always enjoyed hearing his thoughts and stories as I sat in the dental chair and the way he made me and my oldest son Eddie feel as though he was our friend as well as our dentist. My son didn't mind going to the dentist since he would get to see Dr. Akimoto. My one regret is that my youngest son was not yet a patient and never had the good fortune of meeting him. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Akimoto family. We will miss Dr. Akimoto very much and our family will never forget him.

For years Dr. Akimoto was our family dentist, and we always very much looked forward to visiting his office and visiting with him. He was a true gentleman, kind and considerate, and always thinking of ways to improve his profession and the care he gave. Living a good life and giving generously to philanthropic causes, Dr. Akimoto enriched the lives he touched directly and indirectly. He was as much our friend as our doctor, and we miss him greatly.
