Stephen Huntley Obituary
Pallbearers for Stephen include Cameron Huntley, Chase Huntley, Derrick Carey, Daniel Carey, Elias Bird and Alan Whaler. Honorary pallbearers will be Kordell James, Derek Whaler, Stewart James and Alfred Franklin.
Stephen J Huntley was born September 4th, 1964 in Tahlequah OK to Willard J Huntley and Gertrude Augusta (Anderson) James. Stephen graduated from Tahlequah High in 1982. Stephen was employed at Northeastern State University for 22 years. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed creating artwork, reading a good book or listening to music. He collected many different things such as shot glasses and X-Men comic books. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and family. Stephen passed from this life on June 2nd, 2018 in Tahlequah at the age of 53. He will be greatly missed and his memory will live in our hearts forever.
Stephen is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ruth Violet Huntley, maternal grandparents, Ernest and Willie Odetta Anderson, step-father, Billy James, aunt, Violet Baughman, uncles, David Richard Anderson, William Joel Anderson and Stan Huntley Orville Baughman.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Cleta (Mouse) Huntley of the home, his mother, Gertrude James of Tahlequah, OK, his father, Willard Huntley and wife, Annetta, daughter, Staci J Huntley of Tahlequah, daughter, Anonda James and husband, Stewart of Tahlequah, three sisters, Christina Carey and husband Darrell of Tahlequah, OK, Ruth-Ellen Garcia of Tahlequah, OK, Autumn Scheffer and husband, Micheal of Tahlequah, OK, one brother, Seth Huntley of Tahlequah, OK, three granddaughters, Augusta, Opal and Azala of Tahlequah, four Grandsons, Elias, Kordell, Tobin and Jesse of Tahlequah, OK, special friends, Alfred Franklin and Lana Anderson as well as a many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
