Dear Sinatra family,
I just discovered Dr. Sinatra's book about The Myth of Cholesterol and it has answered the questions I had on statins and helped tremendously. Then I decided to read about him and discovered he has passed. I just want to say how much I appreciate him and know how much you must miss him. I am so grateful for Dr. Sinatra for his curiosity and knowledge that he shared with us all.

I met Dr Sinatra at the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim years ago, where I interviewed him for an article. He showed a lot of caring and vitality. Years later, I called his office about a question for my mom, who I was caring for, and he generously provided the answer. I just learned today that he passed and I am truly sorry, but thankful that such a great man lived and I was able to meet him.

I received the Cardio News initially started by Dr. Sinatra. As I was reading, the doctor was being referred to in the past tense. I thought if he had passed, so I looked him up and saw the obituary. I was shocked and saddened by the news and loss of such a compassionate and caring doctor. I had subscribed to his new letter in the past, as well as products, and was thinking about returning to their use. I am glad to have known about him and will be ordering these products again. I remember when I saw him on the Dr. Oz Show. I was impressed and wrote in to subscribe to his newsletter. The products worked very well and my doctors were very impressed. I want to take this time to offer my condolences to his wife, children, friends and colleagues. A truly remarkable man, doctor, and friend gone too soon. Thank you for taking care of us.

Just came across the news about Steve. We attended F&M together and enjoyed his friendship and watching him wrestle. Endless energy. Then met up with him many years later at a medical meeting and he hadn´t changed one iota. Still upbeat and friendly wanting me to join him as I returned to Ct. from Atlanta. Blessed to have known him.

Prior to retirement I worked as a paramedic for a small but very busy fire department. I also taught EMS at our local community college. About 15 years ago I developed PVC's and my cardiologist prescribed a beta blocker but could not find a root cause for the ectopic beats as all my labs and tests were negative. Basically, I was told they were benign, and I would have to live with them. The only problem is that they were painful when they occurred, and they occurred often. About a year after my diagnosis, my wife and I were in a small bookstore in Asheville North Carolina. I just happened to run across a book with the title "Metabolic Cardiology." Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I learned so much from this book and began taking the "awesome foursome" recommended by Dr. Sinatra. Within three months I noticed a drastic decrease in premature ventricular contractions (PVC's). I still take these same supplements today and seldom have PVC's. Today I was looking for information to give to a friend about these supplements and ran across this obituary. My heartfelt condolences to the Sinatra family and my sincere gratitude to Dr. Sinatra for his life changing work.

I had the great honor of getting Dr. Sinatra´s message out into the world and he was one of the nicest, humblest, warmest clients I´ve ever had the privilege of collaborating with. His great mind was rivaled only by his benevolent heart. Truly an angel walking among us. May he rest in peace.

Found one of his books in 2004 changed my life and many of my family's. Because of CoQ and other supplements my mom lived to 97. Since I worked in hospitals for alot years I have told many of my patients about Dr. Sinatra and his books and I still do to this day! One of the best doctors ever he will definitely be missed!

I saw Dr. Sinatra many times on "Your Health with Dr. Richard and Cindy Becker" and learned so much from him. I also read his books. I am still posting his advice on Facebook.
It is wonderful to know of doctors who put their patients' welfare first and are keeping up instead of lagging behind in the latest research.

I am shocked to see an obit. I met him at a Usana convention, bought his book, and 5 years later used CoQ10 to give my Dad 9 more years of life. His cardiologist had said to call all the family.... my Dad's organs were shutting down. I asked if he would mind if I gave him what Dr. Sinatra had suggested. He said there was nothing he could do, so he said fine. My Dad walked out of the hospital 3 days later. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for those extra years, Dr. Sinatra. How I wish I could have told him in person and given him a hug.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Sinatra. He was the very best.
Dr. Sinatra was my friend, my colleague, and my doctor. He was one of the best doctors on planet earth, if not "the best". He was loving, caring, wise, smart, knowledgeable and funny.
Dr. Sinatra changed medicine and inspired an entire generation of doctors to think differently about health, healing and heart disease. He challenged the status quo. We are all better because of him. Bravo, Dr. Sinatra. You get a standing ovation.
His kindness was his superpower. He was such a gentleman and a scholar. We had the best conversations. I'm sure we'll all miss that.
Dr. Sinatra loved his patients, his students, his colleagues and most of all, his family. If you had a problem, he would help you solve it. Better yet, he would find a solution. Always inquisitive and always thinking about how to do it better.
He is gone much too soon but he lives on in all our hearts and souls. He lived a glorious and giving life.
My condolences and prayers to Jan and his entire family. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of the joyful times you spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. God bless you all.

I cannot begin to describe the sorrow I feel after learning today (9-13) that Steve has died. He was a brilliant and loving man, a spirit messenger who brought healing powers from the universe to our troubled world. His insights and legacy of care will continue, giving future generations the benefit of his mind and heart. My highest thoughts are with Jan and the entire Sinatra family. While specifically looking up Dr. Sinatra's website I discovered this very sad news. For decades I read Dr. Sinatra's books, followed his newsletters, ordered his supplements and was privileged to meet Stephen and Jan on numerous occasions. They were always cordial. Dr. Sinatra and Jan have my deepest respect for having maneuvered through the medical maze to offer healing modalities beyond popping a pill. They are true pioneers. Please offer my deepest sympathy to each of the family members. Their husband, dad and grandfather was an exceptional man in every sense of the word. His compassion and caring came through each of his writings and in person. May you carry on his legacy. For me, I will go take my CoQ10 and say a prayer for the family. Thank you, Doc, for all that you have given this world.

Wow,so sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. What a man, humanitarian/doctor, a doctor who really cared about helping people versus supporting Big Pharma. I just bought three of his books regarding cardiology and how to protect your heart as I am 71 and am so thankful for the knowledge from these books as well as what supplements to take - Magnesium, L-Carnitine and D-Ribose as well as a couple of others. Wish I knew about this a few years ago as I am now 71 and heart disease runs in my family. He has given a lot of people a world of knowledge with his books about this disease which kills more people than any other disease in the US. Thank you Dr. Sinatra for your wonderful books that will live on in your absence and teach many people how and what to do to protect their heart. May you rest in peace and be with the angels.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve as a cardiology tech when he was a fellow at St Francis Hospital. His smile was ever ready, and his care for his patients was so evident even at that very early stage of his career in cardiology and so much more. My deepest sympathy to you all. I knew Steve from residency at St Francis Hospital where he was a cardiac fellow. Very likable and caring. I sent many patients to his Manchester cardiology practice and read his newsletters faithfully. Tried to incorporate all he taught me in the care of my patients. He helped my mom live to almost 96 after her extensive heart attack at age 70. I believe that his supplements and care were the reason she had such a full and enjoyable life. My husband and I have been on his supplements for over 30 years. Steve was all the obituary stated - a most remarkable man.
