Christine, I am so sorry! I love Steve. He was just a very special person and friend. I will miss him terribly! Know that Steve was loved by very many people. I don't know if he knew that. I hope he does now! His laughter was comfort to hear. Just hearing his laughter always cheered me. What a great joy he'll be to those who have awaited his arrival in heaven! His passing to Heaven has certainly made Heaven sweeter for me!

Cannot believe that Steve is gone from this life. Had so many long, long conversations with him about family history. Had many laughs, also. I remember today the excitement in his voice when he found the grave site for one of the people we both were looking for. Perhaps, he has met some of those people and have the answers we were looking for! Well, I plan to keep on looking and will have him in mind many times. God's peace on the family.

My dear friend Sweet Steve, the world will be without your smile, but your memory will remain in all the hearts you touched throughout your life! I remember the night after I had my daughter, you were there with your family waiting on a new member and you came and sat with me in my room and kept me laughing! My heart hurt when I was told of your passing, but then I smiled, because I had a flood of sweet memories come pouring through! Rest In Peace my friend! To the family he has left behind, thanks for sharing this sweet soul with us! Forever remembered, Tina Nicholson Bowman.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I have known Steve since we attended Penrose Elementary, then Brevard Middle and High school. I had not seen him since the late 80's , but caught up with him on Facebook and not a beat was missed!! He always asked about my Mother who he worked with at one time at Owens Orchids every chance he got! A wonderful person, who will be truly missed!! Rest among the Angels my friend!

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing and family you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I will cherish all of the fun times that we had together, listening to him play the piano and sitting and talking on the phone with Steve for hours at a time. There is no doubt where he is today. Steve had the Lord in his heart and was not afraid to share the love of God with others. Steve was a true Christian.
With love and prayers.

I was so sad and shocked to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was a wonderful, caring and loving man. Always so full of life! I had the great pleasure to see him only a few weeks ago at Enon church after many years. I got a hearty, full squeeze hug and some laughs while we had our short visit. Little did I know ,that would be my final farewell to a wonderful friend. My heart goes out with prayers of comfort and strength to all his family and friends. I am so blessed to have called him my friend. He is now rejoicing, singing and probably playing a celestial piano and enjoying his eternal life with God our father. RIP Steve. You will be missed by many!

God knew exactly what He wanted when he created Steve Sitton! He wanted a handsome man who was blessed with tons of love, joy and kindness for others in this world. Steve demonstrated God's will in his life through his many talents and hard work. Steve loved playing the piano for churches and special events and was also wonderful at searching records for family genealogy. It's my prayer that his genealogy work will be treasured and preserved for many generations to come. Steve was a person who could easily make friends with his warm and loving personality. His laugh and humor was also a gift that lightened many hearts and helped vanish their problems. God used Steve in so many ways; he knew his own weaknesses and yet was willing to help direct a person who had side-tracked God's will for their life, in the way of Gods direction through His Holy Word. He wasn't ashamed of His Savior, and that was evident in his service for the Lord. I can't say enough to describe how wonderful Steve was,... but I'm sure he is in heaven with all those who have gone on before him and having "the time of his ETERNAL life"! My prayer for his mom,...brothers,sister, family and friends is that the Conforter will touch the pain and grief in their hearts and guide them in days to come. Meanwhile,...if we can help in any way,...please feel free to give us a call. We love each of you. :)
