With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Steve Chance, 65, of Shreveport. He passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1958 in Marianna, Florida to Ann and Arthur Chance.
Steve enjoyed 4 wheeler riding, hanging out with friends and spending time with his family. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Kim Welch and her husband, Lance, Tammy Jones and her husband, Scott, Brandie Fussell and her husband, Jason and Adam Chance and his wife, Charlie; grandchildren, Russell and Logan Welch, Tiffany and Scotty Jones, Randy, Noah and Luke Fussell and Cooper Chance; mother, Ann Hopkins; sister, Angela Barker; and nephew, Jordan Barker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florance Chance; father, Arthur Chance; and his step father, Victor Hopkins.
A celebration of life for Steve's family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Silver Star Smokehouse,1201 Dixie Overland Rd, Bossier City, LA 71111.

I was sitting at my desk in the back office when a mouse ran by me, I started yelling for the guys to come get it, which they didn't, they just laugh and said get use to it; Steve said wait until she sees a snake ....... the guys all thought that was funny, He said it so dry with no expression or emotion, just matter of fact.
