I grew up next door to Stevie and played with him as a small child. He was a wonderful boy and I loved his big brother T-Bone. My parents had a chicken farm for awhile and sometimes we visited his parents. (attached is a photo of my parents and me at Steve Wood's old home on Hwy 80). We lost touch as we grew into teenagers, but I can remember shooting fireworks with him in the back pasture when I was 10 years old. We had fun!! He was a great kid and I miss him. I see that he had a full, happy life and this warms my heart. I am sad to hear of his passing and my prayers go with his family and friends. Mary Ann Cagle (Carrollton, TX)

Steve was such a nice man. We remember how kind he was to us when we first met him at our daughter Becky and Joshua's reception in Texarkana a few years ago. We are so grateful we got to visit and have fun with him this past Christmas. We are very saddened by his passing and will surely miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and the family during this difficult time.
