There has never been anyone like Steve Kraus, I will miss him. He could always be counted on to say something that surprised me and to invoke some unexpected perspective. He was a beacon of light in the darkness of the doctors lounge. We are so sorry for your loss.

Steve was a great physician, friend and colleague. Like all professions, there are both good and bad physicians. Steve was one of the best pathologist I had the privilege to work with. Many women's lives were saved because of his expertise. He also spoke often about how proud he was of his family. My sympathies go out to his family, but take comfort in the fact that Steve leaves behind a legacy of helping the thousands of woman whose lives he touched (even though most of these women never met him or knew how important he was to their care) and the wonderful family he leaves behind. He will not be soon forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kraus family in this time of great sadness. We will truly miss not having Steve at our tailgates at the Big House. Everyone always enjoyed their many conversations with him on a variety of topics. Now he has the best seat in the house to watch all of the games from The Big House in the sky. RIP Steve - George & Cheryl Stoll
