Steven Kress Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 13, 2009.
Steven passed away in April 2009. Steven was last known to be living in Darien, Illinois. He was a Marine Veteran. As my brother, Steve was a wonderful and loving person. He was always there for you and he always brought a smile to our faces with his laughter as well as his smile. It gives me pain to know that he is gone and I miss him so much. There is saying that goes "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." I will treasure every moment I spent with you Steve. I miss you so much and I love you. Ryan Neiman My brother Steve was someone to laugh with, talk with, and just be around while being yourself. He did not judge and was very open minded about life. I never thought my time with him would be caught short and there is truly a hole in my life without him. There are too many memories to the point were I can't pinpoint one to describe. Some people might not really understand or know how close I was to him. My family and I have truly lost a part of ourselves when he passed at the young age of twenty nine- just 9 days after his twenty-ninth birthday. I miss him everyday and his random texts he would send me while he was at work. You really have to not take things for granted, especially family. And I really wish, oh god I wish, we had one more day, shit, I would take one more hour if I was so blessed to spend it with him. I miss you Steve. It will never be easy. RIP. Sara

You are never far from my thoughts. I still find it hard to believe you are gone... We had just started back talking and gaining a friendship... Then you were gone. I miss you!!!
